Jiahe Food Shines at FHE 2025 with Corporate Awards and Recognition for Young Scientists

Summary: On February 18, the Boao Forum for Healthy Food Science and Exhibition (FHE 2025) grandly opened at the Boao Forum for Asia Conference Center in Hainan. On February 18, the Boao Forum for Healthy Food Science and Exhibition (FHE 2025) officially kicked off at the Boao Forum for Asia Conference Center in Hainan. As a leading enterprise in China’s plant-based food and healthy raw material sector, Jiahe Food claimed the Enterprise Award for Scientific and Technological Progress and the Award for Innovative Healthy Technology Products relying on diversified innovations and excellent market performance. These achievements reflect the development of the healthy food industry empowered by new quality productive forces. The forum was jointly hosted by Shanghai Junshi Institute of Life Sciences, the Research Center of Special Foods of China Agricultural University, and Hainan Yuanchuang Active Health Industry Research Institute. Gathering over 300 experts, the event consisted of 2 preliminary conferences, 6 thematic sections and 16 innovative seminars, jointly exploring cutting-edge technologies and future trends in the healthy food industry.

In the plant-based sector, Jiahe Food has long focused on innovative R&D to meet consumers’ demand for high-quality healthy food. During the forum, the company jointly developed whole-grain oat milk with the Academy of National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration. While maintaining a delicate and smooth taste, the product maximally retains abundant nutrients in oats, including dietary fiber, protein, mineral elements, vitamins and polyphenols. A panel of experts including Academician Chen Junshi and Academician Jin Zhengyu visited Jiahe’s exhibition booth and spoke highly of the product.


With the theme of Collaborative Innovation, Shaping a New Healthy Dietary Ecosystem, Jiahe Food showcased its brands including SupOat, Golden Cat Coffee and Lifenghuo at the exhibition. Its diversified product system and outstanding innovative capabilities gained widespread recognition. In particular, the Open Pilot-Scale Service Platform, an innovative business launched by Jiahe Nutrition and Health Research Institute, attracted great attention. The platform satisfies both the scaled-up trial production needs of scientific researchers and the technological exploration needs of industrial enterprises for mass production upgrading.

Jiahe Food supported and participated in thematic forums including Clinical Research on Functional Lipids, Coffee and Health Development, and Whole-Grain Food and Health Development.

In the session of Clinical Research on Functional Lipids, Dr. Wang Yandan, postdoctoral researcher, delivered a speech titled Spatial and Positional Effects of EPA: Key Factors Affecting Bioaccessibility, sharing the latest research achievements and practical experience in functional lipids. Dr. Yu Le, head of the company’s postdoctoral workstation, stated in the roundtable discussion that lipid innovation has run through the entire development of Jiahe Food. The company’s core technological development of special edible raw oil has realized zero-trans-fat upgrading for all non-dairy creamer products, eliminating trans-fatty acid health risks and setting an industry benchmark. At present, the company is vigorously developing functional powdered oils and new n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid delivery systems, as well as low-odor and odorless DHA powdered oils.

In the Coffee and Health Development session, Wang Zhuo, General Manager of Golden Cat Coffee, held in-depth discussions with guests on the current status of the coffee and health industry, and explored innovative industrial development pathways.

In the Whole-Grain Food and Health Development session, Dr. Fei Yanan from the National Grain Industry (Whole-Grain) Technology Innovation Center & Jiahe Nutrition and Health Research Institute gave a speech entitled Functional Activity of Oat Fiber and Its Impacts on Oat Milk Sensory Properties. Her report elaborated on the balanced regulation of oat fiber functionality and product taste in whole-grain oat milk technological innovation, providing new industrial insights for the popularization of whole-grain products.
